1. Signing In
To access the Mixer iPad app functionalities, follow these steps:
- Open the App: Tap the Feedlot Manager app icon on your iPad.

Choose a Starting Vehicle:
- The screen will prompt you to select a vehicle from the following options:
- Loader
- Feed Truck
- Mixing Bin
- Select Loader and tap Login to Loader.
- The screen will prompt you to select a vehicle from the following options:

Enter Your Credentials: Provide your username and password
2. Assigning the Loader iPad
Once logged in, you will need to assign the Loader iPad to select the Bins/truck you are loading into.
Step-by-Step Process:

Prompt to Assign iPad: After logging in, a pop-up message will appear saying "Assign this iPad?". Tap Yes to confirm the assignment.

Configure the iPad Settings:
- You will be directed to the Loader Settings screen.
- Choose the appropriate Bin Display option from the dropdown menu (e.g., Bin 1, Truck1).
- Set the Language (English or Español) by tapping the respective option.
- Save the Configuration: Tap the Save button to confirm your settings.

Start Feeding:
- Tap Yes to start feeding or Cancel if you are not ready.
- Tap Yes to start feeding or Cancel if you are not ready.
3. Creating a Load
Once the Loader iPad is assigned, a load can be created on any of the Bins/Trucks that were selected in settings.
- On the Mixing Screen, select the appropriate Bin and Truck by tapping the corresponding tabs (e.g., "Bin 1" and "Truck1").
- Choose the Ration from the dropdown menu (e.g., "Grower 3").
- Select Feeding Number: Tap the Feeding No. dropdown and select the appropriate feeding number.
- Enter the Total Load amount in pounds if you need a different amount the iPad automatically filled in.
- Make sure the Starting Amount is set to zero unless you need to account for preloaded weight.

Verify Ingredients:
- Once the setup is complete, press Create Load.
- The list of ingredients will appear on the right side of the screen with the Target Weight (lbs) specified for each ingredient.
- Verify that all ingredients are correct before proceeding.

Start Loading:
- Tap the Start Loading button to begin the loading process.
- The first ingredient will automatically be highlighted.

Load the ingredient until the target weight is reached. The weight loaded will be displayed in real-time on the screen.
- After loading the ingredient, tap Next.
- A prompt will appear asking, "Are you done loading [ingredient name]?" Tap Yes to confirm to continue loading.

Finish Loading the Mix:
- After all ingredients are loaded, tap Finished Loading.
- Confirm by tapping Yes when asked, "Are you sure you would like to finish your load?"

Mixing Timer (if applicable):
- A mixing timer may appear for certain rations. Tap Pause or Reset as needed to control the timer.
- The Bin Timer will remain on the screen until the load is picked up by a Feed Truck Driver.

4. Troubleshooting
Issue: Mixer iPad Not Receiving Commands from Loader iPad:
- Ensure that both the Loader and Mixer iPads are connected to the network.
- Confirm that the Bluetooth connection between the Mixer iPad and the scalehead is active.
- Restart the devices or reset the Bluetooth connection if necessary.
Issue: Mixer iPad and Loader iPad are showing different loads
- Log out of both the Mixer iPad and Loader iPad
- Created loads must be deleted to start the loading process again. The Feedlot manager must go into Feed Status and Delete the Load that was created. See Feed Status Article
Issue: Feed Truck iPad Not Receiving Commands from Loader iPad:
- Ensure that both the Loader and Feed Truck iPads are connected to the network.
- Confirm that the Bluetooth connection between the Feed Truck iPad and the scalehead is active.
- Restart the devices or reset the Bluetooth connection if necessary.
Issue: Mixer iPad and Loader iPad are showing different loads
- Log out of both the Feed Truck iPad and Loader iPad
- Created loads must be deleted to start the loading process again. The Feedlot manager must go into Feed Status and Delete the Load that was created. See Feed Status Article. After load has been deleted both iPads can sign back in to begin the load process.
